It's construction and painting is shown here.

Wood strips are cut and joined to form the frames for the wall sections.

The end walls are covered with sheet foamcore.

The forced perspective engine core is made from foam core and was then primered.

Holes are cut into the floor of the engine core and covered with textured clear styrene.

Various diameters of PVC tubing are cut to length, painted and installed into the engine core.

Number decals are applied to the bottom tubes. Lighting is applied and tested.

The back wall is covered in foamcore. The upper section is also covered in foamcore and the support beams are made from foamcore and sheet styrene.

PVC tube is cut to size and placed at the base of the windows. Various openings are cut out to be filled later with screen/grill. A small piece of styrofoam is cut to shape. A metal rod was heated and pressed into the foam to form the indentions.

Perforated metal hex mesh is attached to the opening of the engine core.

Strip styrene is attached to the grill to form the separation lines.
