To ease in assembly and painting, several parts were left unattached. These were painted red, yellow, silver, copper, blue-gray, blue and black. |

The loose jewels and painted plastic parts were attached to the main control consoles. |
|
The area between the control consoles was masked and painted black. The dark blue-gray parts were attached. |
|
The yellow parts were attached to the back wall. Metal tape was cut into thin strips and placed on the center of the yellow beams. |
|
Decals were made to detail the back wall panels and applied. |
|
All loose parts were attached to the back wall. Small strips of yellow, red, and blue tape was wrapped around several of the tubes. |
|
The control consoles and console front faces were attached. A few tiny decals were also applied. |
|
The copper balls were placed on the Dylithium Chamber, completing assembly. |
|
All wall sections are brought together and photographed. |
|
