Tholian Miniature
Part 3

To ease in assembly and painting, several parts were left unattached. These were painted red, yellow, silver, copper, blue-gray, blue and black.

The loose jewels and painted plastic parts were attached to the main control consoles.

The area between the control consoles was masked and painted black. The dark blue-gray parts were attached.

The yellow parts were attached to the back wall. Metal tape was cut into thin strips and placed on the center of the yellow beams.

Decals were made to detail the back wall panels and applied.

All loose parts were attached to the back wall. Small strips of yellow, red, and blue tape was wrapped around several of the tubes.

The control consoles and console front faces were attached. A few tiny decals were also applied.

The copper balls were placed on the Dylithium Chamber, completing assembly.

All wall sections are brought together and photographed.

The last of the loose parts are attached to the engine core wall.
