 
 
We were asked to fabricate two gauges. The first being a reproduction of the Hangar Deck pressure gauge. The other gauge to be designed had to be similar to the Hangar Deck gauge which includes a sliding red graph. Several proposals were rendered and #3 was chosen.

High impact acrylic was purchased to build the gauges from. All signage was rendered and laser printed onto waterslide decal film and white card stock.

Full scale templates were printed and positioned onto the acrylic. The clear areas of the gauges were cut from the templates.

|
The desired clear areas were masked and the gauges were primered. A final greernish gray color was applied. When dry, a clear gloss coat was applied and the water slide decals were trimmed and positioned. A final clear matte finish was applied and all masking was removed.

'Dummy' pushbutton switches were cast and painted. Clear cast indicator 'lamps' were also prepped.

|
The switches, indicators and red sign was applied to the Hangar Deck gauge, completing it.
