A 9" shuttle was built for the primary shuttlecraft footage. While it looked great in stills, it was unconvincing as a large scale shuttle. A larger shuttle model was constructed for the shuttle footage. The small shuttle model was the perfect size for a shuttlebay interior.

Drawings were scaled up to fit the small shuttle. Wood frame members were cut out.

The frame members were assembled.
