Presents...
Enterprise NCC-1701 Part 3

All of the engine domes are glued to the engines, completing primary assembly.
Day 11
The dome spikes on both pilot versions were painted gold.

All three models were lightly weathered with acrylics. Medium cool gray, forrest green, and rust color were mixed and airbrushed on each model.

The unfinished Production Version nacelle front ends....

Silver decal strips were placed onto the red domes. Clear domes were attached to the center bridge domes on the tops of the saucers. Small clear 'marker lights' were attached at the port and starboard edges of the saucers.

Clear vac-form domes (Thank you, Jeff!) for the nacelle front ends were frosted.

The domes were attached with white glue to the fronts of the engines.
Day 12
The First Pilot Version was decaled, windows first.

The First Pilot Version decaling was completed and the Second Pilot Version decaling started.

The Second Pilot Version decaling was completed and the Production Version awaited decaling.
Day 13
The Production Version decals were applied.

The base was painted matte black. Brass tubes were wet sanded to a 'brushed' sheen.

The deflector amp rings were glued to the fronts of the secondary hulls. The deflector dishes were then aligned and attached. The dish spikes were then painted silver.

A matte finish was sprayed over all models completing them.
