All wings are laminated with sheet styrene and the strips removed. These areas are then puttied with spot putty.

All puttied seams are sanded and the entire model is primered.

Clusters of holiday lights are placed into each wing opening and tested.

Frosted mylar sheet is placed into both sides of each opening to diffuse the internal lighting. Triangle shapes of textured clear styrene are cut to shape.

The clear triangles are attached to the model, completing it.

Kyle Clark adjusts the lit model in preparation for the shooting of test footage.

Lights with colored gels are aimed at the model in front of a green screen.
