3/4" playwood and various diamters of PVC tubing are cut to form the basis of the Briefing Room Viewer.

The wood and PVC parts are assembled.

The outer frames of the three screens are cut from sheet styrene and glued together. Plexiglass is cut, frosted and attached to each of the frames.

The base unit is built using wood, PVC and sheet styrene.
|
|
Two of the three screens are aligned and attached to the wood structure.
|
|
White sheet styrene is placed behind each one of the screens to act as diffusers.
|
|
The last screen is epoxied into place. The base unit is puttied.
|
|
The three sided crown is assembled and epoxied to the top.
|
|
Styrene strips are epoxied on complete primary assembly.
|
|
All seams on the entire model are puttied.
|
|
Both components are sanded with a power sander.
|
|
All screen are masked off and the entire model is primered.
|
|
Both components were painted with a blue-gray color. The screens were then masked off for airbrushing the blue surround.

|
The blue surround is airbrushed on all three side.
|
